  The Last Continent

Unseen Theatre Company presents the World Premiere of Sir Terry Pratchett's hilarious novel, "The Last Continent" adapted for the stage by Pamela Munt. Discworld is a world and a mirror of worlds. This is not a play about Australia. No, its about somewhere entirely different which just happens to be here and there a bit .. Australian. Still...no worries, right? On the Discworld anything can happen. Or even "not happen". Sometimes its difficult to know which is which - even for the wizards at the Unseen University. In this case, The Last Continent was "not happening". It was dying, even as it was being built. The Gods who were building it didn't quite know what was going on. Some thought it was to do with the space/time continuum. Others thought that there was not enough magic left in the world to glue all the pieces together. The one thing that they did agree on was that it needed a hero. A hero who could eat a Pie Floater even when he was sober...... "Dead is onlly for once, but running away is forever"
